An Introduction to Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy

This workshop is designed for therapists, counselors, psychologists, licensed and pre-licensed professionals who are interested in improving relationship dynamics through EFT.  This workshop will cover the basic tenets of Emotionally Focused Therapy and its application with couples. It will specifically address the following objectives: 

1) What is EFT?

2) Learn the Origins of Attachment Science

3) Identify 4 Attachment Styles in Couples

4) Learn What Creates Secure Bonds

5) Identify Attachment Strategies when in Distress

6) Understand the Pursue-Withdraw Dance

7) Learn EFT Model’s Core Assumptions about Emotions in Relationships

8) Identify Primary and Secondary Emotions

Participants will also have the opportunity to "practice & play" and apply what they learn in this workshop to video examples of distressed relationship dynamics.

Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances may change, and we strive to accommodate our participants as best as we can. Please review our cancellation and refund policy below.

Cancellation Requests:

1. Full Refund: Cancellations made at least 30 days prior to the workshop start date will receive a full refund, minus a $15 administrative fee.
2. Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 14 to 29 days prior to the workshop start date will receive a 50% refund of the registration fee.
3. No Refund: Cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the workshop start date are not eligible for a refund.

Workshop Cancellation:

In the unlikely event that the workshop is canceled by the organizers, all registrants will receive a full refund of the registration fee. We are not responsible for any travel, accommodation, or other expenses incurred by participants.

How to Cancel:

To cancel your registration, please contact us at sarah@therelationshiphouse.org with your name, contact information, and reason for cancellation. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the cancellation request.

Special Considerations:

If you experience an emergency or unforeseen circumstance that prevents you from attending the workshop, please contact us as soon as possible. We will review such cases on an individual basis and try to offer a suitable resolution.
